For over 100 years, the Gasthof Rosner has been an integral part of the Altenmarkt townscape – deeply rooted in the region, characterized by tradition and family warmth. We, the Steffner-Rainer family, run the business with personal commitment and dedication.

Each of us brings his or her own signature to the table – whether in the kitchen, in service or in direct contact with our guests. This closeness and authenticity is what makes a stay with us so special. In 2017, the traditional hotel was renovated with great sensitivity: Swiss stone pine and fine loden fabrics not only bring alpine character, but also a pleasant feeling of space.

In 2025, we set another milestone and expanded the business with a modern apartment building. The new, spacious apartments combine contemporary living comfort with the proven Rosner philosophy: high-quality materials, regional craftsmanship and an atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. We thus offer our guests even more flexibility and space for an unforgettable stay in the mountains.
